Heritage Trail Vineyards was an established six-acre vineyard and winery on an 18th-century farm when it was purchased in 2008 by vintner Laura Schwartz and her husband, chef Harry Schwartz, well known to Public Television viewers from his culinary programs. The vineyard, under Laura's supervision, produces wines from classic varietals such as Cabernet Franc, and French-American hybrids including Vignoles. Chef Harry adds more culinary treats, including local cheeses and smoked fish, and batch gelati for dessert, all served in the winery's cafe. Stop in for a tasting and lunch any day except Monday.
